Claudio Bravo Camus, painter. He was born in Valparaíso, on November 8, 1936, died on June 4, 2011 in Taroudant, Morocco.
From a family of farmers, he lived a large part of his childhood in the rural area of Melipilla. He started drawing at the age of eleven showing a clear vocation for artistic expressions. Although his hobby was not initially supported by his closest ones, he managed to take classes in the workshop of Miguel Venegas Cifuentes, with whom he studied drawing and painting. He also wrote poetry, danced professionally at the Compañía Ballet de Chile and worked at the Teatro de Ensayo of the Universidad Católica.
