Carlos Francisco Leppe Arroyo, visual artist. He was born in Santiago on October 9, 1952, died in the same city on October 15, 2015.
He studied art at the University of Chile, receiving a Bachelor of Art with a mention in Painting. He was a student of Eugenio Dittborn, Carlos Altamirano, Francisco Smythe and the theoretician Nelly Richard who included him in the group Scene of Advanced. He was interested in avant-garde artists of the 20th century such as Joseph Beuys, Villalba, Arman, Christo, Fontana and Segal, who inspired his work and was related to object art, body art or body art and the intervention of space.
Leppe developed a recognized professional career in the advertising area, as art director, image consultant and creative consultant for several national, Spanish and Italian companies. He highlighted his performance as director and artistic producer of Televisión Nacional de Chile.
