"Ancestral myths that arose in distant places that are transmuted a thousand times into different beings, incorporated into the universal surrealist imaginary: that presence or surrealism, about (reality) of the hidden images come from the dreamlike. This is the universe of Aldo Alcota; his creatures are made up of multiple realities, they are born in dreams, his images are contorted, they break, they merge to form impossible beings ".

Aldo Alcota was born on January 31, 1976 in Santiago de Chile. At the end of the nineties, he attended the workshops of the Chilean artist Mario Murúa, a member of the Magie Image group in Paris. In 2007 and 2008 he is a visiting student at the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain). He has exhibited his work in America and in Europe. His visual work is a cross between Surrealist and Baroque poetics.
